Having studied combined Honours in International Business Management and Japanese Language at Stirling University, I began my career in financial services at Llyod’s Banking Group, one of the largest companies in the FTSE 100, in 2011. I went on to work as the Finance Director of a consultancy firm in Scotland, before moving to Private Wealth Management in 2020.
I am an active member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) and the Personal Finance Society (PFS) in the UK and believe strongly in their code of ethics. In 2022 I decided to move to Southeast Asia to bring the UK advice model to the offshore market with the aim of improving the standards of international advice. I help clients achieve their financial goals and maximise the advantages of being an expat.
I'm passionate about promoting financial literacy through social media, including regular posts with valuable personal finance tips. I've been featured in "Money & Me," a program teaching teenagers financial savvy, and I host free quarterly Personal Finance Workshops. I believe mastering money leads to financial freedom.
In my spare time, I'm an active Rotary International member, raising funds through events like Golf Tournaments and Black-Tie Dinners. I also enjoy hiking, playing acoustic guitar, rugby, and traveling. I've played rugby tournaments in Phuket, Phnom Penh, and Kuala Lumpur, traveled to South America, and completed a 9-day trek in the Peruvian Andes to reach Machu Picchu. Always up for new adventures!
