Jamie Bubb-Sacklyn

Chartered Financial Planner

Having graduated Cardiff University with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics, I began my career in financial services at Brewin Dolphin, a FTSE 250 company based in the UK, where I spent 3 years training as a financial adviser. I passed 12 exams in 2 years gaining the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (APFS) from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and am proud to be a Chartered Financial Planner.

I am an active member of the CII and the Personal Finance Society (PFS) and believe strongly in their code of ethics and my integrity. In 2018 I decided to move to Malaysia to bring the UK advice model to the offshore market and I continue striving to improve the standards of international advice. Through building long standing relationships with my clients, I help them achieve their financial goals and benefit from the advantages of being an expat.

I regularly blog about financial planning topic. I’ve hosted a number of seminars and webinars and will continue to educate the expat community.

In my spare time I enjoy playing football and travelling around the world. In the past few years, I have cycled from London to Paris, as a group raising over £250,000 in aid of Cure Leukemia, driven a tuk tuk across India in aid of Cool Earth, ran an Ultra Marathon in Borneo, and am always looking for new adventures!
